(Possibly) the best film I've ever seen
I've always struggled with film as a medium, but every now and then, one comes around that's so stunning, emotional and breath-taking, it becomes the single greatest thing in existence. Anthony Schatteman's debut film Young Hearts is the latest to take that honour - a beautiful, youthful film that celebrates queer identity without glossing over the specific traumas faced by young people coming to terms with their sexuality in latently homophobic suburbia.
